The footrest is an essential piece of outfitting your boat. It provides a contact point where you can transfer energy generated from your paddle into forward movement of the kayak, by using all the power of your lower body. The Nelo footrest is totally customizable and can be adjusted with regards to its angle and depth. The new footrest also offers more pull strap options - carbon or nylon hard pull bar, or neoprene pull strap (1 or 2).
Full Footplate or Standard Footplate You have the option of a full or half plate, which is easily configurable using simple screws. Directions By default, all footrests come configured with the full footplate. To convert into a half plate, you only need to release the four screws at the back of the plate. To convert into a full footplate you need do the inverse procedure.
